Yes. We believe some Franchise Owners with relevant, proven entrepreneurial and franchise experience will be approved to operate multiple units. We offer discounts on initial franchise fees for owners who commit up front to additional preschools.

How many employees do I need to operate the preschool?

Typically, you will need between 16 and 20 full and part-time employees. These staff members include a full-time Director, teachers, classroom assistants/aids, and specialists depending on the ratio required for your state.

How much income can I expect from the business in a year?

We will be able to share our Financial Performance Representation, called an Item 19 in our Franchise Disclosure Document, which highlights affiliate performance and history. This useful tool will help you evaluate the revenue potential for your Neighborhood Kids.

What curriculum is followed at Neighborhood Kids?

Our private preschools operate on the WEE Learn curriculum.  WEE stands for “Weekday Early Education”, which is division of Child Development Education Alliance (CDEA).

What are the startup costs and what do they include?

You will need between 7,000 and 8,000 square feet plus a 3,500 to 4,000 square foot playground. We have specific site criteria, which will help you evaluate real estate to determine whether it would be a good fit for your Neighborhood Kids location.

How long does it take to open a preschool?

Our typical timeline to open can be as short as eight to 10 months for either model you choose, whether a prebuilt preschool or a new early education center. We will be with you each step through pre-opening steps, real estate selection, design and construction, and we will continue to support though pre-opening training, and hosting your pre-enrollment Open Houses to celebrating the first day of school.

Do I have to be an owner operator?

Yes, we want our Franchise Owners to be actively involved, hiring a Director to oversee day to day operations. Most Franchise Owners will focus on community development, managing the Executive Team along with oversight on marketing, enrollment, ensuring the growth and effective operation for your private preschool.

How does the total investment cost of a Neighborhood Kids franchise compare to other preschool franchises?
